Snoop™ Caries Detecting Dye Transitioning to New Bottle

The new bottle is smaller but will contain the same amount of Snoop (12mL)

WATERTOWN, MA – May 22, 2025 – Pulpdent^® Corporation will be transitioning Snoop™, its popular caries detecting dye, to a new bottle starting June 1, 2025. The new bottle is smaller overall than the old bottle, but will hold the same amount of Snoop (12 mL). The new bottle reduces waste, protects the product, and does not leak.

An important tool in conservative dentistry, Snoop helps dentists distinguish between infected and affected dentin. Snoop stains infected carious dentin in 10 seconds and helps preserve vital dentin that should not be removed.

Snoop detects caries in difficult to see places, and its dark blue color provides strong contrast with dentin and the pulp. Its propylene glycol formula is reported to be more accurate than water-based formulas. The product is rated “Four Stars” by Reality Ratings & Reviews.
