On Friday, May 14, 2021, Pulpdent Corporation kicked off its sponsorship of The DeW Learning Crew, a yearlong virtual event series hosted by Dental Entrepreneur Woman (DeW). Twenty-five women from across the dental industry attended the event, which featured presentations by Anita Sirianni, RDH, and Joy Void-Holmes, DHSc, RDH, as well as breakout sessions and virtual happy hour. Sirianni spoke on confidence and selling strategies for dental professionals, while Dr. Void-Holmes gave a moving presentation on overcoming fears and achieving one’s dreams—both in one’s career and in life.
“The DeW Learning Crew is an amazing educational, motivational, and inspirational offering for my fellow women in dentistry,” says Anne Duffy, founder of DeW. “The first event was a great success—there was an electricity in the air from the opening presentation to the final toast, and we left with new ideas and full hearts. The engagement of these brilliant women is a testament to their dedication and unwavering passion to change dentistry and make it a better space for women today and for years to come.”
The DeW Learning Crew aims to provide women in dentistry with education that will help them build their careers, expand their business network, and create lasting friendships. The second installment of The DeW Learning Crew is scheduled for Friday, July 16, 2021. Speakers will be announced June 7, 2021. Registration is $79 for guests and $29 for DeW members, and is now open at https://www.dewlifecrew.com/learning-crew.
