ACTIVA™ Pronto™ is an everyday bioactive flowable composite with protection against microleakage, the leading cause of recurrent decay and secondary caries.* It is a highly versatile material for all classes of caries. It demonstrates excellent stackable handling, strength (70% filled), and esthetics. ACTIVA Pronto is powered by patented technologies:

  • MODULUS™ (elastomeric fracture resistance)
  • WETBOND™ (moisture-friendly chemistry)
  • CRYSTA™ MCP (calcium, phosphate, and fluoride release & recharge)
  • ION-X™ (ion release and recharge, plus bioactive protection)

*Apatite crystal formations, unique to bioactive treatment products like ACTIVA Pronto, physically seal the material-tooth interface, protecting against microleakage, the leading cause of secondary caries and recurrent decay. 

The Magic Is in the Resin

  • Highly esthetic, light-cure, dentin and enamel replacement material
  • Patented rubberized-resin technology (MODULUS) absorbs stress and resists wear, fracture, and chipping, even in thin areas on bevel margins
  • Hydrophilic resin (WETBOND) facilitates diffusion of bioavailable calcium, phosphate and fluoride ions

CALCIUM, FLUORIDE & PHOSPHATE RELEASE / RECHARGE:

The following graphs show the release and recharge of calcium, phosphate and fluoride ions. ACTIVA Pronto and ACTIVA BioACTIVE display a continuous release and recharge of these essential minerals, which are naturally occurring in the saliva and are supplemented by dietary sources and release from ACTIVA. This diffusion of ions is only available in materials that can transport water. Traditional hydrophobic materials are passive and do not have the capacity for this dynamic behavior.
